Game vs the Gators today

Regardless of who good the pitcher is, our bats did not show up. We can't rely on having Duke carry this team. When the 2-7 hitters go for a combined 3 for 31 and 11 K's you will not win ball games.

Agreed. With the worst part being it wasn't due to physical limitations or just not being good enough. They just didn't make the mental adjustments

Once again, Kingston changed the lineup.  Good idea?  I'm not so sure.  Villar had his absolute worst game of the year...Borders, pretty much the same.  And Leal...what can I say...a guy that drove in about 12 all year, batting in the 5 spot for the first time all year?  Very questionable.  I know you want to mix things up and put a spark in the lineup, but I think it was a terrible move.  And then when you talk about the pseudo squeeze with a guy batting .380...its a terrible game by the coach.  He has to be better.  His team battled their asses off...into extra innings no less...we had the Gators exactly where we wanted them, and we lost.  Put this loss on Kingston

Not sure why we can't just tip the cap to the ******* Gators, Faedo and Byrne especially, rather than trying to, with hindsight, blame Kingston and the players (although the errors do warrant that criticism). Faedo doesn't slip on the mound, the game's probably over in 9. Gators made the plays needed to win the ballgame in the end.
