Is it unethical? Of course. Is it out of character for most coaching departures? Absolutely. Surprised or upset? Of course not.

I don't care too much for ethics. Ethics can't buy me love.

If your knowledge, time spent and relationship with a recruit was paid by your past employer, does that not mean that you leave that recruit alone hours after (and thereafter!) you are at a new institution?

If you know that your former job is interviewing a candidate for the HC position and you just left that same position some hours ago, would you not steer clear of said situation?

I knew he was all about #TheCa$h# when he interviewed at South Carolina the first chance he had to harvest the labor of all the efforts of the staff and team put together last season: The season wasn't even close to being over.

Anyway, I don't care what he did here. USF paid for it. He's dead to me. And I'll grin when he gets fired from the Ducks in a few years. #That'sHowIRoll!#   #USF1st#

Great points, but I'm sure Taggart views as "All's fair in love & football" and these thoughts never crossed his mind.  He's under a lot of pressure to win BIG at Oregon, and will be going all out, feelings be damned, to get the best support he can...players & coaches.

I'm trying to wish him well, but I'm failing...especially after seeing him Tweeting Judson and going after Strong (who I'm quite sure isn't thrilled at the idea of working for Taggart...former P5 HC).

What did he Tweet Judson? Judson didn't announce an Oregon offer, did he?

... and the convo with CS was apparently about both DC and USF.

Judson tweeted an Oregon offer

It may have been lost on most Bulls fans as the Charlie Strong talk was sweeping the Bulls end of the twittersphere.

As I commented over there, kind of curious that he waited until we had a coach before doing that .... He wasn't shy about offering highschoolers that hadn't committed here. One's take on this will probably be based on one's historical feelings about CWT.

It was before we had a coach.

And Judson said days ago he was following Taggart to Oregon, they'd already talked.

I believe he said he'd follow CWT wherever he went before he went Oregon and I don't believe there was any evidence of them talking before he was hired. We had a coach at 12:23 ..... again historical feelings.
