I am astounded.  CWT is a Western Kentucky alum that never went to USF. WE HIRED HIM AWAY FROM WKU!!! And people really expected him to be loyal to USF?  Really?

I have no problem with Taggart trying to recruit kids he has been after for us or going after Strong. 

Let's be honest, we expect any new coach we bring in to bring in recruits he had been after in his previous job. Taggart is doing the job he was hired to do. I have no problem with that. 

Having read some of the comments by Taggart and USF efforts to retain him, I believe Taggart going to Oregon was more about competing at the highest level than the cash. I respect him for that. I also am starting to believe he really was not sold on the longer term prospects for USF. At least since the B12 deal fell through.

This is where I am. In that video I posted earlier, I really think you can see CWT was torn about the decision. But he has high ambition, wants to win a national championship, shatter some ceiling. I respect him for that.

For the record, IF USF were still in  power conference, as CWT thought he was going to be when he arrived, he stays. He never went to USF but he grew up here, played high school ball here, and this is home. 

As someone who grew up in Tampa and has lived on Long Island and now Boulder, believe me, he is gonna miss that FL sunshine.

Wow, talk about trying to find a reason to be miserable.   Geez,  move on.   He's been in contact with these guys and their families since he started recruiting them.   Some probably for several years. Just because he switched schools doesn't mean he should cut off contact with them completely.  We aren't keeping the ones who were coming here for him anyway.  If they were sold on the school,  campus and athletic program,  we have nothing to worry about.
