He's still a risk but I think he has a better chance of winning big at Texas than Strong. Strong never got comfortable with HS Coaches in Texas and Herman has long Texas ties plus his strength is his work with QBs from Ohio State down to Houston.

Who is butt hurt (whatever that even means)?  I was sharing my feelings, but also noting it's not rational.  Frankly, it's good to be in position where you're doing so well, teams WANT your coach.  The other 2 terminations were under much less pleasant circumstances.  At least now, we have appeal, and with a fairly loaded team (and would have buy out $$ to spend on Taggart's replacement.

Any of those three would be great as they would not open up a new vacancy for CWT to look at. Hope they don't go with Mullen as that creates an opening at Mississippi State that CWT could fit right into.
