Joe Robbie?? A dump you say!

Miami plays in Hard Rock Stadium.  It sure doesn't look like a dump, to me.

Then you've never been there. As someone who grew up in South Florida and went to plenty of Dolphins and Marlins games from 1987 to 2004, it sucks. Ignore the semi-dome they put up to cover the absolutely **** daytime weather, the stadium is still garbage.

2004 was 12 years ago.

Right. Because 30 year old, multipurpose stadiums, just keep getting better with age.

Then we are screwed for at least the next 10 years

The B12 expansion was a sham, expansion will not be happening anytime soon, if anything, contraction when B12 fails is far more likely!! We can build a fan base with the AAC. If we max out at 45K for the next 5-7 years, we will still be ok...

On second thought, if it's ok for the Bulls to use announced ATTENDANCE,  then I will continue to use "ATTEND in my luxury suite".

Rationalization doesn't make it right, but it's your call.

The USF Sun Dome, a 30 year old multipurpose facility certainly has.

Clearly. That's why a facility that cost $34.5 million dollars to build needed upgrades of $8 million (1994), $11 million (2000), and $36 million (2012).

I don't UM football, but this article seems to say they do well in their rental stadium.

http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/college/acc/university-of-miami/article106693007.html

I've always heard that most Miami fans aren't alumni, and that most grads don't live in or near Miami.

I never had a problem selling tickets online to the USF/Miami games at RJS.  They sold very quickly and for high prices to out of state Miami fans...never a bite from Bulls fans.

Isn't the U tiny in comparison to USF?    I see Canes gear being sold in far more places than Bulls gear.

Your article is about a game that causes USF to sellout too...

A more appropriate article would be:

http://newsok.com/article/5421521

(Miami has the SAME problem we do... meanwhile, their counterparts DO NOT -- UF & FSU)

ALSO! Canes gear sells more than USF, because they have National titles, and sit in a better conference.

An OCS that was recently renovated?

Ned's in one of those contrarian moods again, and all of you engaging him are just making him chuckle behind his keyboard or phone.

He's always in a contrarian mood.  This time it's less annoying than others.

That's like saying "smazza's in one of his grammatically incorrect posting moods again" ...

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
