University of Miami... and they have the same problem we do...

 

Bigger city, better stadium, and fans have been complaining for years...

 

They are also P5 and have won National titles... (meanwhile, their UF and FSU, fill their OCS just fine)

Sorry Ned, but I'm sure, stickler that you are, you can appreciate that you do not, in fact, attend games at any luxury suite.

How to increase attendance?  Get in a better conference. There is no other way. USF will not average 45-50k a year again like we did in Big East unless we get into a power conference. The end. If that keeps us from getting in another power conference to begin with then it does. Our cap playing in a G5 conf is around 40k. Maybe 45 if we go undefeated and even then probably not.

You expand the base by getting people to watch USF, not who they're playing. The only way to do that right now is sustained winning and maybe, hopefully, it starts getting the attention of the thousands of alumni in the area who are  interested in college football, but not USF right now .... and maybe gets some local, casual fans interested.
