Memphis leads the series at 5-2 (actually 5-3 if you count their Saint Petie Bowl loss). Memphis has compiled a phenomenal 2-1 (that's a 66.7% winning percentage) record in play against USF when the contest is held at the Liberty Bowl. Vinnie - he of the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue - has the spread at [-3-1/2] USF with an under of [73-1/2]. Hoping this is a win, but I'll forego wagering with real money this time.

Wow it's on 2-1 up there? I thought for sure it was higher. Well that's better news then! Still think our offense puts a whoppen on them.

Isn't Memphis the kind of offense that Taggart want the 4-2-5 defense for because he felt it allowed us to better utilize our team speed and athleticsm to stop the RPO kind of offenses?

i think Woodie remains on the hot seat until he proves he can continue to be flexible and dominant in play calling.

Memphis is not good against the run. We should eat them up, but the W will come because we played better D.

I don't know if this stat is accurate, but it was posted on the Memphis board:

" USF is 0-5 after bye week under Willie T."

We beat SMU on the road after a bye week in 2014. We have lost twice after a bye week to Memphis, but 0-5 is not true.

I saw that. Of course some of that is due to the fact that the team was simply terrible the first two years. The streak will go down in Saturday.
