By comparison Memphis loss to Navy in Annapolis by 14 points and  beat only one team with a winning record, Temple 34-27 in Memphis.

In the three losses Memphis has given up no less than 260 yards; 263 to Ole Miss, 447 to Navy and 362 to Tulsa. USF averages 273 yards per game.

If USF prevents Memphis from scoring on punt and kickoff returns and does a decent job of slowing down the pass then assuming USF is business as usual running ball USF wins the game by no less than 10 points.

 

USF is averaging over 500 yards per game offensively.

I say, this game is a toss-up, could really go either way, and wouldn't be surprised if the line even moved to a point in the other direction.

 

 

i never buy that stuff about being the best team and the "best team" cant seem to beat the other good  teams inthe conference

This game is going to come down to what defense of ours is on the field come game day.  Memphis has the third best scoring offense in the AAC, only behind USF & Tulsa (believe it or not).  Memphis also has the 5th best defense in the AAC, only allowing 224 scoring points to our 272.  Two very capable offenses, so naturally defense will be the deciding factor; also special teams.
