I guess the bigger reason I don't like Duemig is that he's a *bad broadcaster*. Now, Rome might be known for his dead air, but Duemig has about 3x the dead air Rome does, and then he'll come back and scream something.

i understand why some of you guys like him, i guess having worked in radio most of my life i find him really abrasive. yet, given no other alternative, i listen anyway. funny how that works out.

I've often wondered how Duemig can be so highly rated, yet, everyone hates him........

Because controversy sells. A lot people listen to him just to see what ridiculous angle he's going to come up with next .... Why was Howard Cosell so popular?

Although I feel kind of dirty even remotely comparing Duemig to Cosell.   :-/

Chris Thomas was the best, I really miss that guy. I think 620 does a fairly decent job although my experience with other media markets is somewhat limited.

I really wish more Bulls would call up the shows and get the USF conversation going. I noticed more of that this past football season.

I have always been pretty high on Duemig, I think the guy is pretty knowledgeable and lets people call up and disagree with him. Dan Sileo is very uninformed IMO and is a pure Miami honk.

We agree there. The syndicated Fox guys were a helluvalot more entertaining and informative. I pretty much stay with ESPN radio most of the day when I listen ...

Triple, it's too bad Tony Bruno didn't re-up his contract. I also preferred him and Andrew Siciliano to Sileo.
