I really have no idea what you're talking about. Never, under any circumstance, does it look better to win by 7 than it does by 28+. Navy has a set resume. If we decimated then, it looks good on us, period.

I like to play devil's advocate when I drink. Don't mind my comment from last night, lmao.

And I remember seeing a lot of negativity regarding the win. After last week's game, many people were being negative seeing no way we'd beat Navy. We beat Navy! So I was feeling contrarian in the moment. A win is a win. My point about the polls, stand. Screw the polls. We need to win out and have Temple lose a guy to get to the Championship Game.

I don't understand all of the hype and support for coach Taggert. I understand that we are winning but seriously, I am very concerned about the way we look in the second half of games.

A good coach knows how to make adjustments. For instance, Skip Holtz used to make amazing adjustments. I know he wasn't the best coach but he did do that.

As a proud alumni I think Taggert is still on the hot seat and if we don't make it to a major bowl he needs to go.

Uh, really?

Drinking a '12 Napa Cab & watching my USF Bulls take it to #22 Navy...life is good.

I'm just going through the whole thread now.  Had a Caymus '12 Cab this week with a ribeye on the grill.  Just this side of heaven.

:wtf:

When? Not for USF, so it must have been for ECU or UCONN, or USCe, or some Pop Warner team

You delusional or just suffering dementia?

Well we unfortunately gave them some confidence for the rematch in the conference title game.

Seriously man! I told Brad in the chat room that if Temple loses one I don't like our look for a rematch.

The Bellagio Sportsbook nearly erupted in chaos when Navy did not attempt the extra point after the touchdown when time expired. Most books had USF -6.5 at kickoff.

CWT did his best to not cover.

Have to say I'm happy to eat crow for saying we'd never cover the line
