Problem is you sub out and it slows down the tempo. The better solution is Mack putting two hands on the ball when running between tackles.

More concerned about Adam's fumbles.

I agree with this.  Its now 2 times in the last 2 weeks that he's fumbled inside the 5.  He's not a great short yardage back.  I think we all know this.  DJ needs to get the ball.  It used to be Darius Tice, but we don't have him anymore.

 

BTW, was that play reviewed?  I thought it should have been, but I didn't see/hear any referee review.

 No, it wasn't reviewed and it should have been.  It was clearly a fumble but it looked like Mack got the ball back.  Seems to have been taken from him in the pileup after the whistle.

After mack has a long run we should have flowers keep it the next play to give mack a small rest and have mack block for flowers

CWT should run a drill in practice to quickly sub Mack for Johnson after a big play. I understand it will give the defense an opportunity to sub.  but I believe for the remaining schedule in most cases USF players are better athletes there USF will still have an advantage

Mack wants the ball otherwise he would come off on his own.  And he became the all time leader for rush TDs.  He needs to know his bodies limitations.  Uconn did  great job forcing turnovers as well.

It's frustrating to see it happen twice like it did but I don't think they are related. He just needs to be better at ball control. 

Still, it's a good sign when we complain about not scoring more in a win. Been a while since we've had that type of problem!
