Don't you know they took out the BCS computers so that they can keep the P5 in control? If this was about fairness, they wouldn't have control. And Houston would be top 3.

We lost to WKU. If you look at a team like Houston, they did the job and got to a good bowl game and won.  Therefore, they got the love going into this season. Icing on the cake, they beat OU.

The AP preseason poll was taken after we lost to WKU so I'm not sure how that game should even come into play the first two weeks of the season.  If it did, whoever gave us votes in the preseason poll are idiots ...

The only ranking that matters is the one after all games have been played.

I think we'll need some some ranked teams to lose for us to make it into the rankings after a Syracuse win.  Most all polls have them ranked well below us, so we would be expected to win based on what we are rated now.

A few slots for sure are going to open up. I'll put them in bold. I didn't list all the games, because some just won't happen. I only listed the ones that have a shot at dropping

#19 Ole Miss plays #1 Alabama

#22 Oregon plays Nebraska (they have more votes)

#17 Texas AM plays Auburn

#20 LSU plays Mississippi State

#12 Michigan State plays #18 Notre Dame (Notre Dame definitely will fall behind us at 1-2)

#16 Georgia plays Missouri

#3 Ohio State plays #14 Oklahoma (They for sure fall behind us with 1-2 as well)

#25 Miami plays Appalachian State

Then some of the teams with more votes that us

San Diego State (actually deserves to be ranked more than anybody) plays NIU

Pittsburgh plays Oklahoma State (winner will probably get ranked, even though OSU doesn't deserve it after losing to Central Michigan, I don't care what anybody has to say about why it happened)

UCLA plays BYU

Utah plays San Jose State
