I didn't get excited with him until after seeing his second touchdown. Seeing that I felt like this kid is a legitimate qb.  I was really impressed with his accuracy and decision making.  The depth on this team is incredible.

He looked really good, has accurate arm and good zip.  I feel good about program after Flowers.

It's early, but he was quick to drop back, scan & zip a nice ball.  Again, it's far too early, but he may be the best back up we've had since BJ behind Grothe.

FWIW, the last USF QB to start with two TD passes in mop up duty was Ronnie Banks (vs the Oklahoma Sooners). I really thought Ronnie Banks was going to be an excellent fit for our offense back in the day. Hopefully Kean's arm will be utilized properly if he ends up getting a shot at starting in two years or sooner (assuming Flowers still struggles with the intermediate game). Just my thoughts... Good win the other night - we have a long way to go though to be considered a top 15 team this year (which Houston already is).

This was probably my favorite part of the game as well. First pass right on the money for a touchdown. Towson isn't exactly the stiffest competition available, but I have a feeling he is head and shoulders about some of our backup QBs of recent years (Floyd, Bench, Eveld). Hoping to see more of him in mop-up duty against NIU this week.

Would be great if they could turn over the entire 2nd half to him (means we're burning them), or at least after a TD or so in the 3rd.
