So I  think I probably should've filed out TSA's special needs/disability form, which has to be filled out 48 hrs in advance. But, I'm not requesting services or anything, just want to bring in a crutch to help me along with my broken leg. Anyone know if I'm going to encounter resistance at the gate?

Probably true. Just wanted to know if anyone else has gone thru the hassle. We know the lot and gate people are not always on top of regulations.

My friends dad brought in crutches last year. We just went in handicapped entrance next to gate C

Just kidding of course.  I'm sure they have evolved over there at RJS and have a plan for this situation!

Hahaha,  thanks guys. The only thing I found on the web is something from the TSA saying that you needed to fill out a form 48 hours ahead of time. I'll use the cappy entrance as suggested above.
