Thank god. Means we don't have to worry about them going to Miami-FSU again. Or the Army-Navy game. Or the UF-GA game. Or the LSU-Wisconsin game to start this season. Or the Tenn-VA Tech game week 2.

Why would they pick USF an AAC over a P5 block of teams.   Did not know they went to Miami for that game.  Where did they have the stage, South Beach?

With the National Championship game coming to Raymond James Stadium on Jan 9th, they might want to do a trial run.

Our perceived quality as a football team is an entirely different thing to ***** about than the location of our stadium. And no, it was in the parking lot in front of Joe Robbie.

I am disappointed that no one has brought up last year's Temple/Notre Dame game ... extremely disappointed.

****, then with that type of game, why would they not pick FSU vs. USF.   It is almost like a home game for FSU.

I say they setup just south of the stadium.

I wonder how far in advance they schedule this event?

They'd probably set up in Ybor, maybe Channelside. I don't think they set up at the Linc last year ...

If we are putting up big numbers on offense and Mack or Flowers can become a household name in the first few weeks, A ranked FSU team against an exciting USF team can provide a good story line.

No way it will happen if we are just a pedestrian team going into that game undefeated.  We have to be winning in an exciting, big time way.

Would also be pretty cool if Mack and Cook were both in the top 5 rushing yards in the nation going into that game. Even better if they are 1 and 2.  There are definitely some selling points to make that game a big one.

The key, obviously is to get ti done on the field the first 3 weeks.

Never considered that. I suppose it's a possibility. Don't see why they wouldn't set up on the pirate ship! Also gameday doesn't necessarily dictate time of game right?

No chance for USF to host Gameday vs FSU.  Its too early in the season.  If Temple played ND in wk 4 last year they wouldn't have hosted either.
