Why spend time working on a website that is seldom seen?

This is his 4th year in college and he has 2 more left because of his waiver. That is 6 years already. Don't think he gets a 7th. Kid should be a Sr and instead is a RS Sophmore.

I mean.. You know what USF stands for right? This may sound strange, but I can see an scenario where they will give a 7th year because of an injury.

Maybe this can be the case that will allow NCAA to revisit their transfer rule (waiting a year, but not lose elibility)....

Not sure I understand. The NCAA already gives another year of eligibility for transfer sitting out a year ...

Think he's saying the NCAA shouldn't allow for the extra year of eligibility for transfers.

Transfers should be available immediately. This wait a year thing is stupid

Meh, I think it safeguards a lot of things. Stops third parties and other schools from "continuing recruitment" for a player who is already at an institution. Also might create a "free agency" if someone could transfer to another D1 school and become immediately eligible. Sitting out a year forces a student athlete to think twice about leaving their schollie. That's why it's always a big deal if someone does; especially to USF in the case they want to come home.

Heard a lot of student athletes realize that football is only a part of your academic experience.

I do think that one should be able to transfer without sitting out for the following reasons:

  • Hardship (already covered)
  • Change of coach (would not be allowed to follow coach to new school)
  • Team goes on probation (as long as you were not part of the team during the time of the infractions that led to the probation)

Anything else, you should have to sit

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
