Apologies on the unexpected downtime

The site had a couple issues around performance including periods of access issues, speed, and a not ideal backup time.

We have moved to a new server and it seems performance is better, we'll see over the coming days.

The hosting company is taking the right actions to ensure we are ready for the season.  The only slip-up on this planned upgrade was they forgot to tell me it would be today.  Either way, it's better that it is done sooner rather than later and today is better than during the week.

Hopefully the server change fixes the extreme lag I normally experience when hopping on between 7 and 9 out here on the West coast every night.

Experienced the same.  The backups routinely started around 9 p.m. our time....a pain.  We were moved about two hours later on the backup too.  And a faster server we shouldn't see a lag last as long.  Tonight we shall see.....
