Doesn't hurt that Tom Herman appears to be a pretty fantastic coach.

No doubt. CWT appears to be hopefully hitting his stride as well. On paper, the coaches we've added this offseason have the potential to be pretty **** good in their own right and should complement the existing personnel nicely. Losing Hope and Allen hurts but I'm pretty optimistic about most of our staff this season.

I'd have a lot more confidence if we still had those guys though. Here's hoping we don't miss them any more than we'd miss appendicitis, by the end of the season. Unknowns make me anxious, and good men aren't easy to replace.

I really feel like NFL.com has more articles covering USF than ESPN. ESPN is such a trash company that only recognizes the P5

main reason why I like CBS sports coverage of USF football better than ESPN. The guys at CBS sports always seem to know what they're talking about and actually do their research on our program.

I used to take ESPN seriously when I was in my 20s.  Not any more.

How do we break into that area?  Plucking a few of these kids could help elevate our program.

we need to keep kids in our own area

Yup, Dodd seems to be pretty even-keeled in his coverage of our Bulls.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
