We definitely need a bar on campus.  I've heard about the empty keg and wished it was still here.

The empty keg was okay to watch bands in, but it served nasty pizza, hotdogs and beer.  Thats it!  They should put in a real sports pub kind of place with a decent menu and beer choices.

Thank God the Keg was closed while I was there, I already drank enough at the C.V.P.A.       ::drinker::

I remember the empty keg during my orientation, but then when i came to campus, it was closed.  Then the SG Computer lab was moved from the first floor to the basement in the area that was the Empty Keg.

I ran that lab for 3 years as the Student Director.  In the back room, there was still a "hood" from their grill and the soda mounts/lines running along the wall.

They should build a huge sports bar inside this thing with the intent of making it the "place to be" to watch USF away games. Could you imagine actually having a nice place to gather with fellow Bulls with the capacity to seat more than a few hundred people?

they need something in there that makes it worthwhile to head over there.  Living off campus and 99% of my classes being in the Cooper/Business area, there is really nothing worth making the trip over there currently.  Now if there was a sports bar, it would definitely be worth it to go watch games up there or just a place to hang out after classes.

Favorite Empty Key Lunch Special:  Mamouth tuna fish on rye w/chips, pickle wedge and a big beer (22oz I think).  Only on fridays though.  After it was removed, I hardly ever went into the MC again.  I only went to buy concert tix & take the EIT test.
