I loved Collins as a freshman, but it seemed that he almost never shot the ball no later how wide open he was as time went on. While this is a good quality for a point guard, he needed to be taking those wide open 15 foot jump shots and we weren't necessarily stacked with shooters at the time.

I loved me some AC but he would have been wasted on this team. Once Holston went down, we needed that point production from the pg position that I doubt AC would have provided. May have been a few more assists from that position but considering I can't recall seeing a team miss so many shots from 5 feet in, that wouldn't have been a given.

Slightly off topic but on the subject of those searching a new program, Dylan Ostekowski is seeking a transfer from Tulane and in our first lost to them he pummeled us. Did some damage in our second game as well even though we won that one

Are you sure his transfer here is even feasible, in light of playing in the same conference? I could have sworn there was a rule against transferring to another AAC school.

Here we go again. For all of the accolades I heard about Peters (during his year sitting out) from the posters on this site, I expected another Buddy Hield LOL

This guy was a major bust and now we have another open scholarship for next year.

I can already hear the excuses next year on here about give Coach Antigua more time as they are short handed, blah blah blah.

Coach Antigua sucks! Fire this clown already!!!

Him leaving is not an escuse for us to not win next year.... I'm a huge Antigua supporter and I believe that. If Holston and McMurray also get injured and one of the incoming freshman are ineligible to play, then that would be a legit reason and that is what happened this last year basically.

Oh I wasn't mentioning him as a prospective target. Just happy we may not have to deal with him next season.

Not all experiments succeed, that's just the way it is. Every coach has those guys, better to act now and maybe we get a bonus signee on scholarship now.

This is what he as been saying all year, so it doesn't seem any different for him.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
