USF is #3

I know Taggart is still calling plays but but he won't have Hope's input.

I think we'll average close to 40 a game this year.  Taggart runs the show on offense.  Not worried.

Taggart's play calling his first two seasons was vanilla. I'm not sure if bringing Hope or Kinnan caused Taggart to flip a switch last year during the Syracuse game. If it was Hope, then I'd be concerned about our offense regressing to years 1 and 2 of the Taggart project.

I think it was Kinnan.  It's no coincidence that as soon as Taggart brought Kinnan in, the offense exploded.

We also brought in Tomey the same year.  Don't think either proves causation.

I think CWT's a smart guy and last year told him all he really needs to know about how to run this team's offense.  USF will be fine offensively.

Remember Joe Kinnan use to run offense clinics for all these college coaches. The guy is a mastermind.

As long as they stick with what worked, we'll be okay. Still scratching my head about Navy game though--hopefully an anomaly. I'm definitely more worried about the D and their identity than I am about the O. Hmm, funny how that flipped from last preseason.

Well, as someone who played a lot of college football video games, I'm an expert on running an offense. Sometimes, you get into a game and something happens that gets you out of your tried and true system and you start getting cute with things instead of sticking to what you're best at.

lol, no doubt. As if by thinking about it harder with my vast football knowledge, I could figure out things that go wrong.
