That's what got us here to begin with.

Yeah, contract terms are a killer. Maybe that's what needs to change...

Perhaps it's the way the contract is written, and where the money comes from.

All I know is what I read.  $6.3 million buyout is more than 20 weeks pay.

That's more than 20 lifetimes of pay for me. :baghead:

Maybe his lifetimes are extremely short.

Can't blame Woolard for getting paid. Can blame his higher up for setting the payments up, though.

I heard Judy Genshaft was his boss, is that true?

Or is it a Board of Regents thing?  No accountability in the end.

When your (mis)spending other peoples's money it's pretty easy to over do it and very easy to hide from the ramifications.

It's also Harlan's contract and several current coaches, including Taggart,  that has an over 20 weeks payout clause.  Of course, this all goes along with the monetizing of college sports, putting the emphasis on winning and not on coaching and teaching.  No other country in the world has done this to their college athletics

More of BOR, president, and big time boosters thing. I have always said that we should not worry about something that is out of our control.  I'm just gonna be happy for Woolard and his agent for getting USF to agree on a very good deal $$$. I won't hate but congratulate! Woolard was nothing but nice to me the times I have met with him. He was always happy but I guess most would be with all the money coming his way. Wow!! Lol

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
