I said it the other night, Ferreira and Jespersen both need work on their quickness and atheticism. Their footwork, especially on D needs a lot of work. They are both ver slow.

BTW,  Her stats improved over last year except 3 pt percentage (down to .289 from .350).  Shooting avg, Rebounds/game, Points/game, all UP.  She was the team's 4th leading scorer last year and 5th this year despite playing injured.

My post was about Laura with my mention of slowness and poor 3 point shooting. If she's not fit to play her role of "3 point specialist" then she shouldn't be playing. If she's hurt, she's hurt. Not saying she is the one making excuses, but many on here are making plenty of excuses why she has played terribly down the stretch. When she was no longer and asset to the team but rather a liability, she should have taken a seat. She did not belong on the court if her plantar fasciitis made her play at such a poor level.

Like Ned, I don't think Laura is a 3 point specialist.  That role goes to Kit.  Laura definitely needs to make more of her shots.  For some reason they just stopped dropping after having 2 real good games late in the year.  It seems to me she remained in the games for her defense even when her shots weren't going in.

I have never seen anyone with a plantar facia injury described as "quick". It's like walking with a nail in your heal.

This is a team game and the team lost. I don't think any one player was more, or less, responsible. Missed shots, bad passes, defensive breakdowns, and playing a very good team ended our season.
