Projecting the 20 Most Dangerous Offenses for 2016 College Football Season

Following a 1-3 start to the 2015 season, South Florida was safely off the nation's radar. But the Bulls might burst onto the scene this year.

Dual-threat quarterback Quinton Flowers accumulated 2,290 yards and 22 touchdowns as a passer while running for 991 yards and 12 scores. Most importantly for USF, he steadily progressed.

Plus, the Bulls return nearly all of their skill-position production.

There's standout running back Marlon Mack, who has consecutive 1,000-yard seasons, along with his backups in Darius Tice and D'Ernest Johnson. Leading receiver Rodney Adams is back.

South Florida finished Nos. 35 and 41 in total and scoring offense, respectively, last year. It would be shocking if either number fell.

The only offseason articles last year I recall reading pertained to "coaches on the hot seat" when it came to USF. This year's offseason there is a lot more positive press. Hope it doesn't go to anyone's head and CWT and this staff can do the impossible.

The only thing that scares me is that we have to replace 3 offensive linemen.  If the O-Line can find replacements and gels, we will roll and offense will be virtually unstoppable.

As long as we dont have a huge drastic drop in oline production we should be ok.

Consistency is always the key but I want to look back at the film. Was the OL that much better than in years past or dos the offense cater to the philosophy? I don't recall a ton of times in pass protection where QF did a five or seven step drop back and had to utilize pocket presence. It seemed that the drop backs were quick and if the first option isnt open, run like hell or read option.  Run blocking is a different story, but curious if this offense (or Hope's protection schemes) helped out the unit and of Hiller can continue to plug and play with who we have without a significant drop off. Definitely the most curious battle in spring and fall.

I saw a Joey knight tweet saying Glen bethel was looking impressive. If he keeps being beastly that's one spot locked down.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
