To be fair they played a really impossibly tough schedule out of the gate with losses to current Nos 1-3 in the AP (Florida, Michigan, Auburn), #16 Tennessee and Oklahoma St who is receiving votes in the first two tournaments alone. Seems like that tough stretch at the beginning has toughened this team up and now they are playing with fire thru the "softer" part of the schedule. We are 23-9 and 2nd in the conference but we will see what we can do when conference play starts. 

Its amazing, how many teams in ANY sport has to play the top three teams in the nation in the first two weeks? 

They did play a very tough schedule, but did they even win one of the games? Unfortunately they weren't prepared to take on such talent yet. However, to be the best you need to beat the best. I'm not taking away anything from their recent success but you can't only beat up on the weaker teams if you want to prove something. The softball team is certainly a perennial winner at USF and that's something very exciting with Coach Eriksen at the helm.

The RPI is a calculated ranking. It doesn't matter who takes notice. 

Having said that, the Bulls are getting close to breaking the top 25 in the 2 voter polls.

You just confirmed what I said in your own refutation lol nice! I never said anything about RPI. As you mentioned, the Bulls are receiving votes for the top 25 (people who have stopped and have taken notice)...thanks for agreeing with me!

When you host the first round the RPI is very important.
