Per CWT today Gibbons' football career is done but he will still work within the program.

Always a shame for a promising career to be cut short due to injury. Good luck to him. Glad he is staying on with the program.

I don't know that he ever really fully recovered from the knee injury(s) that he suffered before he came here. They've referred to it as reoccurring, so I'm assuming it's dealing with that.
