The defense didn't help their cause in the bowl game but the offense also should take part of the blame for allowing wku to go on a 38-7 run. Once u realize the d isn't playing well the o has to step up and they didn't until the 4th quarter but it was too late by then

Tough loss. Would've really liked to have seen Willie pony up some of that new staff budget to get another SEC coordinator. But, in the end, he's probably looking at losing Woodie if he didn't promote him to DC, he's been having his door beaten down the past couple off seasons, if I recall correctly. Maybe now we'll get some continuity at DC, if he can grow into the role.

I agree.  Part of me thinks Allen thought he might be in line for HC here. When cwt got the extension maybe he felt that was it.  Or, perhaps cwt shopping himself made Allen nervous about his own future.
