They both suck. Seriously. We're arguing over who's the toughest Muppet. It doesn't matter anyway, because our WRs ******* suck even worse. But what's worse than that? Our play calling. This was game 27. 27 ******* games and this is what CWT brings to the table.

Give Bench a few more series, the offense looks different with him in there

Did QF throw a pick today?

Wait...his Stat line says he also threw a TD pass as well. If you want to call that a pass. Bench isnt the long term solution but he is the solution for a chance at a bowl game this year. I repeat a chance. He throws a catchable ball. Whether that's to the defense or offense it's catchable. It's not skipping on the ground. I'll repeat for the 3rd time. Maryland qb had 3 picks today. I'd sure take their outcome over ours

Play Adam Robles and sit Flowers and Bench down. Tired of our qb situation, why can't we trade them?

^^^ you do realize that we got the ball back early in the 4th down 11, right?  And our offense had just gotten done manhandling the Maryland D and getting a TD?

A TD from Maryland being happy to play prevent defense and let USF eat 8 minutes up. That's what they call a Pyrrhic victory. Couldn't afford more 8 minute drives.

This was not a Pyrrhic vicory.  Even if it was the 4th quarter it would be a questionable strategy on Marylands part.

Unfortunately, CWT made a poor choice by inserting Bench to fulfill some promise he made.  Bench proceeded to throw 2 interceptions - one he got away with and the second was catchable but still too high.

Bench is a senior and should be head and shoulders better that a true sophmore at this point - he is not a playmaker and never will be.

You might have a point if that drive happened in the 4th quarter and we scored with like 5 min left.  But it happened in the 3rd quarter and we scored in the 3rd quarter.  No team defense is "happy" to let it get down to an 11pt (2 score) game with an entire quarter still to play.  Even if we took another 8 min on that first drive in the 4th quarter, there still would have been 5:30 min left in the game with it being a one score game.  Again, no teams going to be "happy" about that.  There's enough things to complain about on Saturdays game without making stuff up.

Agreed, now we are complaining about long sustained drives in the 3rd that ended in a touchdown because they took too long.

I realize we were behind but that is how you come back.  It would have been great if the next drive took just as long and resulted in a TD.  We would have clearly worn them down and kept their offense off the field.

I am not here to argue who is the better QB but there are several questions here that are not answered before a good sound decision is made.

1. I would guess that the QB's receive evaluations on their performances in practice as well as in games. Game stats are only part of the equation here. Unless all is fully disclosed we can only go on game day performance. We need all material evidence & not part to make a case.

2. Can we believe the explanations given by CWT? How much truth is in it?

3. Are these plays the only ones QF can adequately execute at this time? Grumbling for more variety from QF or coaches may not be possible at this point in time. Are both QB's equal in the amount of plays they are comfortable in executing? Is CWT aware of the plays each does well?

4. Let's compare apples to apples, I would love to know the amount of snaps each QB is getting with the 1st string? Are they equal? You can't expect either QB to be warmed up & ready if they don't get enough practice during the week.

5. Let the other coaches Reaves & Hope be able to speak up & disagree without fear of the wrath of CWT. Is that being done? Since we are not there all we have is CWT's word is that there was a consensus of opinion. Again that is suspect.

6. Remember the 1st yr. CWT was here the offense complained because he wouldn't attend the team meetings & any game plan they worked on he changed on game day unaware of what they practiced. That was supposed to have changed but has it?

7. A lot have posted that some of the players have been more interested in tweeting it seems. I wonder how many players are sitting in important team meetings tweeting or sleeping for that matter & getting away with it?

So until we have all the facts both on the players parts as well as CWT, we are doing the same thing over & over and not getting anywhere in solving absolutely nothing.
