We don't have a deep threat passing game with QF at QB.   Only 1 completion to a WR on Saturday.    Our passing game is to check down to a running back or have QF take off running.    His week 2 QB rating ranked 113 out of 125 FBS QB's.

his rating was 112.9 against FSU.

 

last year Bench's rating was 106.2. he had a lower rating against Maryland, Houston and UCF than Flowers did vs FSU.

 

I was referring to the ESPN website where is QBR ranked #113 out of the 125 FBS QB's.   113 was the ranking, not the rating.

 I was comparing their passer ratings. you do realize they rank them by ratings right?

 

it's dumb to look at one week against a supposed top ten team in his third start ever and complain about his ranking.

 

if bench was ranked as a passer last year he would have been #106.

 

BTW FSU's 5th year senior starter who led ND to BCS title game was ranked 3 spots higher at #110

 

the difference in this game was that 2 of our top LBs were suspended for smoking pot while their all-star RB that was charged with hitting a woman (would

 

have been his third criminal offense while at FSU not to mention he had a pretty bad juvenile record before he went to FSU that included robbery

 

and a gun on campus charge) was allowed to play.

 

honestly I can't wait until Bench gradates and moves on to the NFL. all the Taggart/Flowers haters can move onto to something else.

It's irrelevant if Bench graduates.  This board has had freshman BJ > senior Grothe, Eveld > BJ, White greatest of all time > Bench, Bench > White, Bench >QF, ineligible Woulard > everyone
