If we can do like we used to, and win all 4 out of conference games, and beat UCF, and go .500 in conference, id take it!! Would look great on us, AND the conference

Think about it, if we lose to FSU/Maryland, everybody is going to say we just won the poop conference. Id rather have our signature wins

I really want a conference championship. I think both would help turn around the program, maybe a win over top 10 FSU more so to local preception, but adding hardware to the previous bowl trophies will be a huge boost too.

My first thought was beat FSU. Then AAC champs. After thinking for a bit my first choice was right. If we beat FSU and then Maryland we will be on all the talking head shows. We my even be ranked or close to it. The important fact is TV time makes it worth it. America loves to hear about an underdog making it to the big time. USF is still known for being #2 once. That will bring back ticket sales and add new fans.

That would mean we won like 9 plus games.

Figure you're going to need to go 6-2 in conference to be safe. Add in a win against FAMU, 7-2. I'll go on the low end and say we lose to FSU and MD, but beat Syracuse. So we finish the regular season 8-4, we win the championship game, 9-4. Go into the bowl game with a chance at 10 wins? That would be an insane turn around, put to bed the CWT hot seat chatter since he turned in a hell of a coaching season (as did our new assistants), and now he's going recruiting with that season under his belt. I think I'd be pleased with this scenario.

 

Beat FSU and go 5-7. CWT likely keeps his job, but the fan base remains divided. We spend another offseason ******** and moaning. We see 10,000 more posts where everyone on this board lines up in the CWT/no CWT camps and we get the added fun of QF/AW debates to go with it.

Nothing in poll was mentioned about 2nd place or who the conference winner would be if it wasn't us .... Maybe Brad should have been more specific.
