Well between Hudson leaving and this news, I'd say our Oline is an area of concern again this year, eh?

I don't think Hudson was going to be a contributor in the two-deep, so his departure isn't all that concerning to me.

I'm scratching my head on why you'd think a 6-5 300 lb first team all state selection would be riding pine all year unless it had to do with his rehab. This guy was excellent in high school.

He hasn't played ball in over a year and it takes 2-3 years to develop the strength an OL needs to be successful on the FBS level, Even 4 star first team all state kids.  That's not even taking into consideration the technical aspects of playing OL which are usually very raw due to these kids just being able to man handle competition the vast majority of the time at the high school level.  OL is probably the position that takes the longest to develop when it comes to getting kids on the field after high school.

Might be true if we had any semblance of depth at tackle. Eatmon was a rs freshman.

Is his appeal final? Last I hear, he was denied but was in the process of appealing...
