USF Football Signing Day Features Sun Dome Party

Exclusive party for USF season ticket members and Bulls Club donors prior to men’s basketball game vs. Temple

TAMPA, JAN. 27, 2015 – National Signing Day is fast approaching and USF once again has a full slate of coverage and events scheduled as Head Coach Willie Taggart and the Bulls welcome the class of 2015 on Wednesday, Feb. 4.

USF will once again provide exclusive, in-depth coverage of all of the Bulls’ 2015 signees through Signing Day Central on GoUSFBulls.com. Up-to-the-minute coverage begins at 7:30 a.m. with a free live streaming event straight from the Bull’s beautiful football locker room. The Voice of the Bulls Jim Louk will host live signing day coverage with the latest Bulls announced as soon as their National Letter of Intent arrives. Signee highlights, in-depth biographies and analysis, interviews with USF coaches and current players and a host of other features, including the announcing of much anticipated classes for the men’s and women’s soccer teams, make this a must see broadcast.

The high definition webcast will be broadcast live on Bullscast before an audience of invited Touchdown Club members and USF Iron Bull supporters who will enjoy a catered breakfast, exclusive behind-the-scenes access and take part in announcing signees on one of the biggest days for the program.

USF football and basketball season ticket members and Bulls Club donors are invited to help the Bulls celebrate Head Coach Willie Taggart’s third USF signing class later that day at the annual National Signing Day Party in the USF Sun Dome.

The exclusive event for USF football and basketball season ticket members will be held from 4:30-6:00 p.m. in the Sun Dome’s Arena Club prior to the men’s basketball team tipping off against Temple at 6:30 p.m. The event will feature a buffet dinner and personal appearances from Taggart as well as members of the Bulls’ football coaching staff to discuss USF’s incoming class. Men’s basketball season ticket holders with Arena Club access will be admitted to the event with their basketball ticket. Tickets for the Singing Day event are $23 for basketball season ticket members that do not regularly have Arena Club access and $33 for football season ticket members that do not have basketball tickets. The price of the basketball ticket, seats for that evening’s game and the buffet are included in the event ticket. Tickets are available through noon on Monday, February 2 and may be purchased by calling 1-800-GoBulls or through GoUSFBulls.com.

USF returns 14 starters (6 offense, 7 defense and 1 specialist) for Taggart’s third season at the helm. The Bulls will return their top five tacklers (9 the top 12 overall) and players that accounted for 73 percent of the team’s tackles in 2014. USF returns 100 percent of its rushing and passing yardage from 2014, including 1,000-yard rusher Marlon Mack, and 50 percent of its receptions and receiving yards.

The USF Football program completed its 18th season and 15th at the FBS level. The Bulls have made six bowl appearances, including every season between 2005-10, and have four bowl game victories. USF has produced 14 All-America selections, 23 NFL Draft picks and reached the No. 2 ranking in the Associated Press Poll in 2007.
