The bit coin and Birmingham bowl are terribless bowls.

The Bitcoin St Pete Bowl is a good bowl. Tons of partying on St Pete Beach.  Wish AAC would trade the Birmingham Bowl for the New Orleans Bowl.

While I agree New Orleans would be more fun from a fan perspective,  I prefer the Bham bowl due to the Opponent.   Bham bowl pits the AAC against the SEC.   New Orleans has Sun Belt vs Mountain West.   So we would be playing a Sun Belt team or Mountain west team.    Id rather keep the SEC match up.

Wouldnt mind if we offer a trade off with SunBelt team to swap every other year. Keep the bowls more fresh. Playing 6-6 SEC bowl teams can get pretty boring. Heck! Most of the SEC can be boring.

I don't think many USF fans would be upset or find it boring playing the Gators this year in Bham like ECU is.  Just keeping it real

Step 1: Win 6 games.

Step 2: Complain about bowl selection.

Sounds about right

Dont think we will ever see the Gators play in the Bham bowl again in our lifetimes lol. Bham Bowl may be gone if they tear down that stadium. UAB has no more football and they really dont use that old stadium anymore. Bama now plays most if not all their home games in Tuscalossa.

Winning bowl games needs to be the norm at USF. Maybe not every single one will be amazing, but it needs to happen. It's bare minimum. Our ceiling is higher though.

Bowl games are going away except for maybe 10 to 12 of them. There are 36 now. In the old days there was usually some weird mathematical formula that said if you win your bowl and the othes above you lose, there's a chance the natty champ could come from any of the top 5 bowl games. Now it's all pre determined and if you're not in the playoff there no chance you can win it all. This sucks. I miss the days of split champs and controversy.

There's no selection order for the top AAC bowls. Miami Beach, Birmingam, Military, etc are co equals. Conf places teams in best places it can. All AAC bowls had a "P5" opponent or BYU this year. The real top bowl is the cotton, peach, or Fiesta. Had Boise lost MWC champ game, Memphis likely would have gone to peach.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
