Somethings telling me Weiner found out a lot in the 48hrs he was with CWT and the program.

His text say's it all:   "It feels so weird over here today."

Come on, man .... READ:

Shortly after 8 a.m. Tuesday, in fact, Panthers secondary coach and social studies teacher Bo Puckett conveyed as much in a seven-word text to fellow assistant T.J. Harrell:

"It feels so weird over here today."

I can't   :)

But I did gather this from the article:   "Minutes later, the weirdness proliferated."

You got me....read it to fast before my coffee to wake me up, but the point remains the same !

I'll say this much.

I assume we all want our team to do well.

There was little chance that CWT was going to be let go at the end of this past season. Fine. We aren't a p5 team with p5 money.

If nothing changed at all, we would probably see the exact same results next year.

Change is happening.

(1) New assistants. Hey, I thought the defense was not so bad, but they did give up so many yards and points in many games.

(2) New offensive philosophy. Okay, I don't claim to have more football knowledge than CWT and his staff.

(3) CWT is seeking offensive advice from outside. I think this is great. Who the hell am I to say he shouldn't do this or that to help the team?

I like changes. Let's hope our team does great next season!

GO BULLS!

This is one of those hundreds of things that coaches do, where if it works out, he's a genius, if not he's a fool.

Sort of like going for 4th and 1 at your own 30.

That was a Plant High assistant coach's  text to another Plant assistant coach about how it felt with Wiener not at Plant High School anymore.

Yep. Rich people are eccentric. Poor people are crazy.

Coffee people should never read this board before their morning fix .... and the point is only the same if it was about the weirdness AT PLANT.

Seems like a few of you are itching for the chance to grab the torches and pitch forks. Why don't we see how this yea goes, then make a decision?

Or is that too rational for you

No. What you want is for them to put the torches and pitchforks down.  They've been out since last year for some and early this year for the rest.

Just finished off my pint of coffee....

The (mis)quote was only to back up my point, my point remains the same and has the same merit (in my eyes) without the quote.

It's all speculation at this point

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
