@38Godfrey  Â·

As we first reported days ago, former Purdue HC Danny Hope is headed to USF. http://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2014/12/15/7397879/danny-hope-usf-purdue-coach â€¦

Since USF has only 1 offensive position open, and Hope will be the OL coach... it means that CWT will be his own OC

(NOTE: The CWT to be OC is not actually in the report ... but the only remaining open position is the DB coach)

Is Kinnan still going to come here?

Taggart's best chance was to give playcalling duties to someone else.

No true since our last OC was also the Oline coach.

You're right...  but in this case the reports are that Hope will only be the OL Coach...

With room for only one coach (teams are limited on the number of coaches they can have).  Two positions are "open"  OC and DB coach with room for only one hire.....

Even if Hope is just the OL coach, it doesn't mean that Coach T is the OC.

It's very possible that Allen will coach the DBs along side his duties as DC, which would mean we still have an open coaching spot that can be on the offense.

No. One position is open.

"If true, Taggart would have one remaining vacancy on his staff and two unfilled jobs: secondary coach and offensive coordinator."

CWT cannot hire two more people.  He only has one more hire left... and I can't see anyone on staff being the DB coach.

Although Coach Woodie will likely be moving to BCC, and Tom Allen could double as both the DC and LB coach... that would allow another hire for the offense.

Allen has no experience coaching DBs... so that would not make any sense... the next hire will be for DB coach.
