It had to be done. I hope the transition is smooth. Otherwise we may be back at square zero.

Then again, it may be an easy transition.  Maybe what they are used to playing from their high school days.

Its Magee

Don't play like that

I can see Magee coming here as a hc but not as a oc. It's more than likely going to be someone unheard of by most fans.

Hope we get more pass protection.

Is it possible to get less?

We need a positions coach from Oregon or Ohio State or Ole Miss. We need fruits from a proven coaching tree.... seriously a 66 year old high school coach?

While we're considering high school coaches, I'm going to throw Matt Grothe's name into the hat. Can't be much worse than Taggart himself.

Think Steven Bench will take a promotion to coordinator?

Kinnan as OC.  That would mean Kinnan reporting to someone that used to play for him.  Total 180 degrees in dynamic.

Wonder how that would work out?

Please no on Kinnan. Go get a guy who has been coaching in college football. I figure what's most important is a good offensive mind, but the guy hasn't coached a down of football in college.

Yeah, if the high school route is the way we are looking just promote Lockette.

Wow this would be really interesting to see how Willie will go along with that.

I think our FB could be a real weapon in spread.

Curious to see what happens

This is fantastic news. We have athletes. Let them be athletes. You can still run some power game inside the red zone and when trying to kill the clock but we have to score. Props to either Taggart or Harlan for realizing this is a must. Hope we can flip a top dual threat recruit now.

Miami commit Lawson, seems like he could be a savior to our program.
