That also works for odds CWT is coach the following season if he doesn't make drastic changes to offense.

Lure Chris Ault out of retirement, and throw Flowers into the pistol. At least it would be fun to watch.

How is getting tackled behind the line of scrimmage fun to watch? That's what would happen if he can't throw.

Nevada's scheme is just a power run scheme with some read option thrown in. They passed for only 2300 yards this season. Not much different from us.

Have you seen Flowers throw?

I'm not convinced CWT got the type of players needed, he just got the best he could recruit.

How did he land them at Western Kentucky? Mount Dew and cheetos are loosely made of corn, but that diet usually doesn't lead to the corn feed players of the Midwest.

At WKU his QB play got better each year. Had a 1600+ yard rusher his last 2 years. Of course that was the result of a team that was just nasty and tough in the trenches. I remember both times we played them they just would not back down and made it tough. And yes the first time was without Taggart. Edited by SANJAY

I don't think the overall philosophy needs to change a great deal. There does need to be a little more creativity in play calling, some major simplification of the blocking schemes and assignments and we need an OC that organize plays properly and then put the players in positions to make the most out of the plays.
