A culture of laziness was built up during the Holtz era. Lynch was running at 50% effort here because it was just a stepping stone to the NFL for him and he could do that under Holtz.

Only one problem with that statement... Who wants to guess what it is?

Or maybe it's the fact that he wasn't 100% physically in the one year he played for USF.

 

Nah, it's much more fun to blame Holtz when he wasn't even here.
