re - softball - we played in a super regional final a few years back 2012 - - winner went to the college world series.  you had a stud in the circle - Sara ???.   1st game 2-1 in 11 innings HU..second game 2-1 in 9 innings USF. 3rd game 2-1 USF

This one really worries me.   We just played two road games, one of which we won in overtime against a decent UAB team, one of which we lost to a team that almost always makes the NCAA tourney in NC State.   This is a big test to see if Coach O can get his team up again after only one day off, against a mid-major that has played some solid ball this year.  

 

The bottom line to me though is turnovers.  Against NC State we only had 10 and nearly took them out.  Against UAB we had 24 and nearly lost.   Keep control of the ball and we should win.

 

UAB is not a decent team.  Though it was a road win and we still won in spite of UAB shooting 47(!!) free throws.  So, it's definitely a positive.  NC state is a fringe tourney team at best this year.  They may or may not make it.

 

Hofstra and USF both lost at NC State.  USF by 3 and Hofstra by 12.  USF was super streaky against NC State.  We could have easily lost by 12.  I think this will be a very close game.  Should be fun to watch.
