Best situation would be 10 team conferences where you play all 9 teams each year for the true champion (with tiebreakers in place so there are no co-champions) and have 4 OOC games for a 13 game season without any conference championship games.

Could we have beat Tulane and Temple?

Tulane sure. Temple is tough to say but not impossible.

Hahaha...we got the "tough" AAC schedule, otherwise, this season would look way better.

It's a one year fluke that in the end won't mean much for anybody. The stakes were higher last year with the BCS AQ out there for the taking and UCF and CIncinnati avoiding eachother.

That said - look ahead to next year. CUSA, I mean American, WEST is a cakewalk. If Houston doesn't find a way to Coog it, they'll be in the championship game most years.

Memphis I think will pose a threat and I expect Navy to make a few waves too

:roflmao: Seriously, this game against UCF is our bowl. That's so sad, but I'd love to mess their season up. It's all I have to look forward to this season.

AAC needs a program to represent, and one way to do it is to avoid having the best ones play each other and creating "parity" aka a bunch of 2/3 loss teams

They haven't played Cincinnati since they joined the conference. Talk about some fortuitous scheduling.

Didn't think about going to a 13-game season for everybody - this makes much more sense than my idea.

Basketball has an 18-game schedule this way too. Make it so.

Next season will be better as AAC will have division set up and conference title game. Hoping USF can compete for it next season.

Ha.
