Instead they were matched up with the power houses of Tulane and Temple. We on the other hand have faced (unsuccessfully) the other two top dogs and didn't have the luxury of playing two other more evenly matched teams. Don't get me wrong, I'm not making excuses or thinking there was some plot against us or anything I was just wondering...if we had played Tulane and Temple while UCF got Memphis and Cincinnati would our two records have been different? There's no true and perfect situation, though. For instance, teams at the beginning of a season may be much better at the end of a season.
