On a positive note I do think we have improved...last year we were a bad fcs team. This year, I think we would be a middle of the pack fcs team. I think in a year or two, we could field an fbs quality team.

Honestly, who cares? I've hit rock bottom when it come to USF football. This is where I tap out. I've been to two basketball games in the last week (men's on Sunday, women's today), and had waaay more fun than I had at any of the football games I've gone to this year. It's just not fun. Losing isn't fun. The atmosphere isn't fun. 80% empty stadium isn't fun. My support is going to roundball from now on. USF football lost me. Godspeed to those still following this mess. Maybe it'll turn around one day.

Everyone knows I have been the world's biggest critic of Taggart, calling for his firing.  Still feel that way.  

 

However, I will grudgingly admit, I saw some flashes of progress today.  Mack went over a thousand and White looked like a competent QB for most of the game.  I think offense had close to 400 yds today.

The coaching suuuuucks. The putting Flowers in on the second drive, the reverse BS call after White was hurt, the defense playing with the safety out of position. Feel sorry for the kids, a competent coach would have them further progressed and bowl eligible. And wouldn't have lost to an fcs team last year.

Enough with the McNeese-invoking. Diminishes credibility every which way. That whole season was a purge. We could be bowl eligible this year and that wouldn't matter.
