I'm heading up on Friday for my first visit to Chicago - my brother lives there and I'll be there to hang with him and we're planning to hit the Bears vs. Bucs game this weekend at Soldier Field.

I am pretty sure he lives in the Lake View area of Chicago so I'm looking for some place in that general area to "possibly" catch the USF/Memphis game - of course any plans I make may change, but hoping to get some recs on a place where Bulls alumni may be, and hoping that it's in a restaurant/bar that's unique to Chicago.

Any suggestions?  Looking forward to coming up and being in that cold, windy weather!

That Facebook site is barely active.  Doesn't look like any Bulls post watch party info on there ...

Also tried http://www.windycitybulls.com, no luck there either.

Hello!   I was going to suggest going to the USFalmuni.net website and clicking on Chapters and Societies for Chicago Bulls Alumni info. Hopefully they can direct you to the watch party site. My son lives in Chicago and usually goes to any number of sports bars to watch the games. He's not a FloridaUSF alum but I am and he's a loyal fan and follows them. We were going to meet in Chicago in Sept. and go to the Wisconsin game but thanks to the wacko who tried to burn down the air tower, I never made it out of TIA and we were most disappointed. He's an alum of the University of St. Francis in Joliet (southwest of Chicago where he was born and I was born and raised) so he's actually a USF alum also--just a different school.  He will also be attending the Bucs/Bears game on Sunday and will probably be the ONLY one in the stands in Bucs gear! He was only 5 when we moved to Largo so all the local teams are his for which I can't blame him. I cheer for the local teams also EXCEPT when they are playing my Bears, Cubs or Blackhawks!  Make sure to dress in multiple layers when you go to the Bears game as Soldier Field is right on the lake front and that wind will be brutal--especially take a scarf to protect your face.    Have a great time but dress warm and respect that cold!

Thanks for the advice, especially about the scarf.  I don't own one, but I'll probably need to buy one before going out of town.  You're the second person that has given me that advice.

If my bro and I do end up going to the game, I will be sporting Bucs gear, so he won't be the only one!  :)

We've had trouble finding a place in Chicago to watch our games this year.
