EVIDENCE FOR:

 

Taggart ran on 3rd down, which would make sense if he thought it was 2nd down, and the spike would come on 3rd. 

 

That doesn't provide any evidence about trying to spike the ball other than your opinion/conclusion.

Speculation =/= evidence.

 

 Also, running it could very easily be chalked up to trying to catch the defense off guard and giving the ball to the hot hand in Johnson.   Even with the run there was plenty of time to get another play off, there was what 4 seconds left after the play?

My God this thread is like a male soap opera. Since the game was in Dallas...I think there was a shooter on the grassy knoll.

Doesn't matter. We got shut out for 3.5 quarters by a clown football team thanks to a clown coach. VD5 said it best. This isn't crazy message board talk:
