IF we beat UCF is the season considered successful?

If we go 5-7 or 6-6 I would be okay with that. That means we matched the amount of wins we had in the past two seasons combined! Moving the needle in the right way, but successful it is not.

I predicted us to be 5-7 and i still don't consider 5-7 successful.  We are a young team with a lot of question marks who were in for a rough season and that's what it's been. I find it impossible to call a losing season a success,

It could very well be the next Cincy. Remember our wins come from Catamounts, Tulsas and SMUs. Beating Memphis would be quite an upset.

We should have greater aspirations than UCF being the alpha and omega of the season.

 

It would probably show we are making progress if we beat them which would be good. It's also satisfying to beat them but they aren't the team to be judging a season by.
