I'm pleased with the victory.  I can't imagine a Bulls fan would complain about a win.  Jesus, now we gripe about a victory. 

 

Now?? it's been pretty much a staple in here for almost two years ...

Remember all the complaints about Alvarado when we beat Auburn?

How was Flowers any different in practice to win a starting job over MIke White?  He cant throw to save his life.  He really is not the fast either so I do not see the intangible he really brings.  BJ was twice as fast as Q.   Happy for Mike though to play less than one quarter and win the game.  Hopefully a confidence booster for him.  

 

I think the jury is still out on Flowers but he is substantially faster than BJ... 4.4 40 yard dash. Just couldn't let that stand.

He doesn't really look faster, but may be deceptive.  BJ's strength wasn't speed as much as elusiveness.  I recall watching him v FSU, making it look like a sand lot game, and breaking Noles' ankles all over the field.

 

I think Flowers looked a lot better than I thought he would.  A lot of his throws later in the game had nice zip & found their targets...but out of bounds.  Once he gets the timing down, I think he'll be a LOT better than many think.  Not sure if he'll ever be a productive starter here, but I think he still have lots of upside to contribute.

Don't know that. Making all, or even one, of the misses would have altered the space time continuum and you don't how that would have affected things. What we do know, as char said, is that he made the one that was needed.
