Per Brad's instructions:

 

Vulgar language and inappropriate material is not allowed and will be removed. Abbreviations, misspellings, or other attempts to circumvent the word censoring feature of the community software also violate this guideline. If your post contains an inappropriate word (or purposeful misspelling of such word) that is not censored by the software, you must remove that word or the post may be removed.  If you use a phrase such as mother ******, you are advised to find more eloquent language or remove the term altogether.
 
Do not insert images, video or audio that displays vulgar language or inappropriate material.
 
We try to maintain a family friendly atmosphere whenever it is possible within the main subject matter of this community. Please keep this in mind when participating.

Besides pissing people off, words that get flagged by the adbots cause the site to lose revenue.

Profanity filter has some quirks to it that will hopefully get cleaned up at some point ... Obviously Brad is pretty busy right now.

I am glad that ...for the most part... this board has been able to keep it relatively clean

 

A long while back, I visited UCF's board a few times. I was shocked by how juvenile and vulgar a good amount of members of that board were.

As soon as someone (fellow UCF posters) posted something others didn't agree with, they would be named called, the derogatory gay slur most predominate, as well as lots of obscenities hurled at them.

Haven't really visited then since (and this is way before USF's football program tanked.)

 

I'm glad even now in USF football's lowest point we have never acted/stooped that low.
