WTF?

 

Have I blanked out a whole series? I remember him appearing only twice, and both were three-and-outs.

 

So I go pull up his stats. http://www.gousfbulls.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=7700&ATCLID=1425766

 

1 of 4 passing for 7 yards with 2 interceptions (hey, only ONE incompletion! :drummer:) and 7 rushes for net 36 yards

 

So that's 11 plays, plus however times he handed off. 2 series killed by interceptions, and i remember a punt, so three, maybe four, series he's been on the field.

 

Still not enough data to make any decisions since he hasn't had a real chance to see what he can do.

 

Put him in and leave him in, this season's over as far as winning is concerned

 

But Taggs won't - he's too proud and needs to be right, even if he's wrong.

 

Clearly you did not watch him play during the NC State game, or you would have a different opinion.   :)   I'm pretty sure it was at least four series that went nowhere, except completions to the NC State defense.

 

However, in general we agree.  Something different needs to happen.  And it isn't happening because CWT is too stubborn.

I've only seen Taggart accept responsibility for bad decisions, not how well his teams are coached, handle situations, etc..

LaTech is one game away from bowl eligible and at least one reporter is saying his rebuild is a success. Everyone talks of giving Taggart all this time when the coach he replaced is with another team just as long as Taggart's been at USF, but with a successful P5 transfer QB, running an effective spread offense and sitting on top of his conference.

i didn't know LaTech was a rebuild....didn't they have a winning record when skip got there?

 

edit: they were 9-3 the season before he got there.

 

why did they have to rebuild? because of the coaching hire?

They can win the conference. 

SKIP can only win in week conferences. BE was too competitive for him.

Yes. And they lost 18 starters from that team when Dykes left.
