He doesn't have a BJ Daniels

 

Holtz was blamed after year one for not recruiting a replacement.  How many years does Taggart get before the apologists criticize him for not recruiting a decent QB.  No one else wanted Flowers to play QB, and now we know why.

Yup. Yet, there are so many people that really like this offensive scheme when he's shown nothing to believe that he can turn this into a good offense while at USF or at WKU.

As long as we run this power offense we'll never have a top 40 offense. Best case scenario this offense is somewhere in the 50's and that's with a good players all over the offensive side of the ball.

Exactly!  And that's about every 4-5 years.

Even if we went to a spread offense we have no great talent at WR and QB.

What's sad is I get more overall enjoyment watching other games than USF. I'd like that to change...soon.
