After all the giddiness from many adter last week's come back win, in reality, has there truly been improvement over where we were with Holtz.

The only on field improvement I see is less presnap penalties because there is better familiarity with the offense. Only improvement in wins and losses is because we have played 3 weaker opponents than we played last year.

I said it a few weeks ago when people were so excited about how we played tough early in games vs Wisconsin, Maryland and ECU. I think those teams did not take us seriously and didn't prepare for us. The last 2 weeks we were over matched in both games early. The teams like UC and even Tulsa, all prepared to play us.

Marlon Mack and Andre Davis are our only players on offense I don't see much improvement on the horizon for next year

This particular game looks exactly like last year's team. Dropped snaps, fumbles, dumb penalties, no passing threat....

Some other games have shown some improvement.

I think there has been improvement, but not nearly enough.

I just got done watching a USF game, so I can't begin to think rationally.

We have gone from a pile of hot garbage with flies to a pile of warm garbage so I guess that's improvement

No, minus one or two players the team as a whole still looks like garbage.

Just going off of the eyeball test, this team is as bad as last year. We will just have more wins because our schedule is weaker; we are replacing Rutgers and Louisville with ECU (don't think they would beat UL or Rugers) and Tulsa. Also SMU is historically bad....(and we still may not win!)

I don't see the improvement. Taggart sucks.

We HAVE improved. Might not seem like it because it has not translated into more victories.

What we sorely need is consistency. Its one thing when you have been beaten by a better opponent (based on strategy, talent, and coaching)...its another when you cant seem to play good football for 60 minutes while beating yourself up with some really silly penalties and turnovers.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
